The List

Maureen Beattie in The List

The List is an award winning story of a woman struggling to adjust to rural life. Increasingly isolated, she keeps life in order through obsessive list making where remembering to do something or neglecting it becomes the difference between life and death.

I keep a tight list. Very detailed. I stick to it. Even more since she died. But I’m having trouble. Stellar Quines’ production stars award winning actress Maureen Beattie (27, The Enquirer), is directed by Muriel Romanes and has a creative team that includes Scottish artist John Byrne.

Awards for The List

  • Scotsman Fringe First Award 2012
  • Herald Angel Award 2012
  • Best Production 2012/13 Critics Awards for Theatre in Scotland
Access Performance: There will be a BSL Interpreted performance on 28 August at 12.20pm. The BSL Interpreter is Yvonne Waddell. Stellar Quines has made a film of The List, for more information visit the film’s production page.
