Meet our Producer (Job Share)… Rebecca Davis (currently on maternity leave)
Stellar Quines’ Producer is central to the company’s creative ambition to seek out and establish new venues and partnerships within the artistic community. Rebecca supports the Artistic Director working with Producer Job Share Rhea Lewis and alongside her colleagues to realise Stellar Quines’ ambitions and mission.
Rebecca has a range of experience in arts and project management, producing, marketing, programming and audience development across a range of artforms/creative industries. She began her career in rural arts development and rural touring, moving to Scotland over seven years ago. Since being in Scotland she has worked for Craft Scotland and Puppet Animation Scotland managing Audience Development and Festival programmes.
Since joining Stellar Quines the company has clinched it’s third Fringe First with The Jennifer Tremblay Trilogy, and she has been lucky enough to work on a range of shows with inspiring artists and organisations such as Edinburgh International Book Festival, Dundee Rep, Scottish Dance Theatre, National Theatre of Scotland, Grid Iron, Traverse and The Lyceum.
Rebecca has over five years’ experience in mentoring, having mentored for Federation of Scottish Theatre, Volunteer Edinburgh, Arts Marketing Association and Creative Edinburgh. She is East Scotland Member Rep for the Arts Marketing Association and has been a Trustee with Dumfries and Galloway Arts Festival and is a Pregnancy and Parents Centre Trustee.
