FINAL CALL – closing date is tomorrow for your Letters to…

Tomorrow, 28 June, is the final day to submit your Letters to…a Woman Who Brings Me Hope in the Dark

Don’t miss being part of the first edition of Letters to… in which we celebrate our support of the Scottish Drama Training Network’s upcoming Fringe production Propeller, by The Network Ensemble, directed by Caitlin Skinner.

Propeller is a devised piece looking at political activism and the things ordinary people can do to bring about social change. Inspired in part by Rebecca Solnit’s book Hope In the Dark it got us thinking about the many women who have done inspirational work to resist oppression.

There are women with an international profile like Rosa Parks or Malala Yousafzai

Or more locally, the wonderful team who lead Glasgow Womens’ Library.

But you might know someone personally whose actions have brought about small but very real changes for you or people you know. Below Caitlin Skinner and Catherine Grosvenor tell us who has inspired them.

This is your opportunity to tell us about an activist who gives you the energy and determination to keep on going, whatever your struggle is and however they encourage you.
