Biker boot wearing Pinkie hates April, with her snow white trainers and pretty clothes. April can't help being fascinated by Pinkie. Finding themselves together at a centre for schoolgirl mothers forces them to re-evaluate not only their opinions, but their whole lives.

Serafina's sudden return to her family's Fijian village causes outrage and fierce gossip. She and Priti, an old Indian woman, console each other with friendship and stories that transcend the racial tensions of the troubled country. There unfolds magic and myth: the boundaries between them , and the tragedy of consequence.
Previously read at Rehearsal Room 9, this unique first play by Australian playwright, Ariadne Cass is Stellar Quines' latest commission.

Women On The Brink

Explore the vast canvas of depression through individual testimonies, research and brainstorming. Our mutual desire is to uncover how the depths of depression can evoke powers of creativity.
This international collaboration brings together creative teams from the National Theatre of Timisoara - Romania, Imago Theatre Company Montreal - Canada and Stellar Quines, as they develop ideas for this three year project.

Stellar Quines invites you to witness the development of an exciting new cross art form project that combines visual and performing arts. We will work in partnership with the National Galleries of Scotland, City of Edinburgh Council Children and Families - Arts and Learning and David Hughes Dance Company
A presentation of work in progress will take place at the Hawthornden Lecture Theatre at the National Galleries of Scotland on the Mound. Please enter through the Princes Street Gardens entrance. This is a free event, therefore there is no reserved seating.
